Participation in the Cardiac Rehab Run is voluntary and undertaken entirely at your own risk. Endurance events carry inherent physical risks, including but not limited to fatigue, dehydration, musculoskeletal injury, and cardiac events, and these risks are heightened for participants with a history of heart disease or other medical conditions. By registering, you confirm that you are medically fit to participate in your chosen category and, if you have any cardiac or other significant medical history, that you have specifically discussed participation in this event with your treating physician. On-site medical support is provided on a best-effort basis and does not replace your own medical judgement or your physician's advice. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Telangana Runners and the Cardiac Rehab Foundation are not liable for injury, illness, or death arising from participation, except where caused by our proven negligence.
Participants must provide accurate and complete information at registration, including age, gender, and emergency contact details. Some categories may carry a minimum age requirement, which will be stated at registration. Participants with a known cardiac condition, or any condition that may be affected by strenuous exercise, must obtain their treating physician's clearance before registering and should carry any relevant medical information with them on race day. We reserve the right to refuse or withdraw entry, including on race day, where we reasonably believe a participant's health or safety, or that of others, may be at risk.
Registration is completed and paid for through our registration platform at events.telanganarunners.com. A registration confirmation is sent by WhatsApp and/or email once payment is successful; please retain this for race-day check-in. Registration is personal to the individual named and may not be transferred or resold to another person. Fees, cancellations, category changes, and refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
By participating in or attending the event, you consent to being photographed and filmed, and to that photography or footage being used by Telangana Runners and the Cardiac Rehab Foundation in event coverage, results publication, and future awareness and promotional material, across our website and social media channels, without compensation. If you would prefer specific images of yourself not be used, please write to info@TelanganaRunners.com and we will act on reasonable requests where practicable.
We reserve the right to modify the event date, route, start time, or category structure where reasonably necessary for participant safety, regulatory compliance, weather, or circumstances beyond our control, and will communicate any material change as soon as practicable. Where the event is postponed or cancelled, the terms set out in our Refund Policy apply.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with the event or these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hyderabad, Telangana.
