We collect only what is needed to register you for the Cardiac Rehab Run and to keep you safe on race day: your name, age, gender, contact number, email address, chosen race category, T-shirt size, emergency contact, and any medical condition you choose to disclose. Payment details are captured and processed by our payment gateway; we never see or store your card, UPI or bank credentials.
To process your registration and payment, issue your bib and timing chip, publish official results, contact you about event logistics or changes (including via WhatsApp, email, or phone), provide medical assistance if required during the event, and share event and heart-health updates you have opted into.
Any health information you disclose is used solely for your safety at the event and for cardiac-rehab guidance if you request it. It is shared only with the on-site medical team and never published, sold, or used for advertising.
Service providers who deliver the event on our behalf — timing partners, the registration and payment platform, and the medical team — under instructions to use the data only for that purpose. We do not sell personal data. Photographs and video taken at the event may be used in event and awareness communications. We also share limited contact details (name, email, phone) with Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and Google for advertising purposes — including matching you to ad campaigns you may have seen, measuring ad performance, and, where you have registered in a previous edition, including your contact details in advertising audiences we build on these platforms to reach past participants with future events. Meta and Google receive this data in a cryptographically hashed (non-readable) form where technically supported, and use it under their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to review.
If you registered for a previous Cardiac Rehab Run, we may include your name, email, and/or phone number in advertising audiences uploaded to Meta and Google (sometimes called Custom Audiences or Customer Match) to show you or people like you relevant ads for future editions. This applies even if you do not register again. You can ask us to remove your details from these audiences at any time — see "Your choices" below.
Registration and results data is retained for as long as needed to maintain event records and to meet legal and accounting obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymised.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, or withdraw marketing consent, by writing to info@TelanganaRunners.com. Results already published for a completed event may be retained as part of the public record. This includes asking us to remove your details from any advertising audience we have built on Meta or Google using past registration data — we will action this with the platform directly. You can also opt out of interest-based advertising directly through Meta's ad settings (facebook.com/adpreferences/ad_settings) and Google's ad settings (myadcenter.google.com).
This website and our registration platform (events.telanganarunners.com) use cookies and similar technologies, including Google Analytics (GA4), the Meta Pixel, and Google Ads tracking, for basic functionality, to measure traffic and campaign performance, and to show relevant ads. Some of this tracking links activity across cardiacrehabrun.com and events.telanganarunners.com so we can measure a single visit that spans both sites (for example, clicking an ad here and completing registration there). Where you complete registration, we also send Google a cryptographically hashed version of your email and/or phone number (a process called Enhanced Conversions) so Google can measure ad performance without exposing your details in readable form.
